About Halie

I'd describe my personality as fun, silly, and caring. I like working with kids because they bring a smile to my face. I am surrounded by little ones at home and find that we all have the best of times. I started working with kids when I was 14 and my little brothers where 5 and 2. Since then I've worked with multiple families and age ranges in both in-home and daycare settings. I'm very flexible. I understand the chaos of day to day life and I'm at your disposal to help you. I can engage with the children in a positive manner. I can find ways to steer children in the right direction even without saying "No." I'm a great listener, at times younger children have difficulty getting their thoughts together making them frustrated, I can find what they are trying to convey in a calm manner that can make them feel heard and important.
