About Haley

I grew up with an older sister and younger brother. When I was young I loved helping my mother take care of my little brother. I have babysat for neighbors children and cousins since I was 13 years old. After high school, while attending college, I worked as a teachers aid at Centreville School. Centreville is a small private school geared toward learning differences and behavioral needs (pre-k -grade 8). I also co-ran the after school program at Centreville. The after school program was generally about 10-25 children under my care and the care of one other co-worker. Working at Centreville for 3+ years was one of the most rewarding experiences. I enjoy helping children with homework and furthering their education through games and activities. I am excellent at defusing tantrums and/or squabbles with siblings or friends. I encourage creativity and imagination, while keeping order and structure. In addition, I always concentrate on instilling good manners and social skills.
