About Haley

As the second youngest in a family of five, I was often left to watch the baby of the home. It was with my younger sister I learned how to care for, be creative with, and respond to children's needs. As a sophomore in high school, I traveled to South Africa with Dartmouth College through the Ivy Leaders Program. 10 young women were chosen to volunteer at orphanages and schools in the Limpopo region of north-west South Africa. It was then that I realized my calling. After graduating from Holderness School in Plymouth, NH I began to attend college pursuing my degree in Secondary Education, teaching history. I have completed student teaching at Mount Blue High School, am back ground checked, and finger printed. Most recently I have coached snowboarding on weekends for Carrabassett Valley Academy, working with boys and girls ages ranging from 7-13. If I can teach a 7-year-old boy how to do a 180 in 5 degree weather, then I can keep your child safe and jovial.
