I am an educator with Albuquerque Public Schools. I have a Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Heritage University in Washington State. I have been a teacher for 7 years and have taught and tutored students of every age. The vast majority of my work has been with kindergarten and first grade students in Washington state and I am now teaching gifted students here in New Mexico! I consider my strengths to be early literacy (K-2), math (I've tutored through college), literary analysis (I have a degree in English Literature), the IEP process, SPED services, EL education (I am endorsed in EL Education), gifted/enrichment opportunities, and advocating for students (what's BEST for kiddos comes first... no matter what!).
