Hello! My name is Hailey. I'm 24 years old and graduated from UIUC in 2020 with a BS in Developmental Psychology! I have 10+ years of experience in childcare; I have worked as an ABA therapist for children with autism, an intern at a counseling center and have been babysitting since I was very young. I am very passionate about childcare, inclusivity and making sure every child has an equal opportunity to achieve greatness and feel cared for! I would say my biggest strengths are promoting communication skills, facilitating play-based learning, and providing a patient helping hand to aid children in exploring the world around them. I have a lot of experience with children with speech delays and behavioral setbacks. I have my own reliable transportation, am CPR certified, fully vaccinated and use safe measures when it comes to being around others. Booking a sitter online for a night of babysitting at the other part of the country sounds awful, but Hailey made it so easy! She was on time, respected our and child wishes, played all the games and our child felt so secure and happy with her that she has not stopped talking about her yet. Not only is Hailey great with kids, but she is also responsible and able to stay calm even under stressful situations. She is certified in CPR and First Aid, which always reassured me that my child was in good hands. Hailey will follow your instructions exactly, and is very smart about dealing with unexpected events or change of plans. She stayed in touch frequently, via text and video messages, which I loved. would hire her again in a heartbeat if we would live somewhat closer to her.
