I'd describe my personality as outgoing and personable, I love meeting new people and would say I am good at engaging with a wide range of interests. I like working with kids because I grew up as the oldest of four. My first job was at a local daycare where I found a lot of joy in spending time with the kids. I'm looking for a job that has a flexible schedule as I am in school full time. I have always worked with kids, as I come from a family where everyone helps out with the babies. Since working at the daycare I have had multiple nannying jobs with children of all ages. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my friends or my partner. Im currently rewatching the Marvel movies and tv shows, and I love trying to experiment with new meals or baked treats. One thing you should know about me is that I am a student first and might need to do homework or study in the evenings. My skills include multitasking, bottle feeding/meals, and time management.
Full disclosure, I’m Hailey’s mom 🤣, but I’ve also had the opportunity to watch her care for children both in our family and professionally over the years. Hailey has always been incredibly natural with kids. An old soul and a nurturer at heart. She gets down on their level, genuinely plays, listens, and gives them space to be themselves while still respecting a parent’s routines and expectations. Admittedly, that can be a hard job to give a sibling 😂, but I’ve had the privilege of watching her love on other people’s children with that same patience and care. As the oldest of four, the first grandbaby by five years, and now a cousin to five younger kids, she has been surrounded by babies and children her entire life. She’s especially comfortable and soothing as a mamas helper, newborns and infants and was a huge help to me through the newborn and postpartum stages with both of her younger siblings. Even helped me deliver them both! As if that wasn’t enough, she has a really vast understanding of neurodivergent kids as her youngest sister is autistic with a strong PDA profile. Hailey has learned to meet her where she is—with flexibility, patience, respect for her autonomy, and a willingness to adjust instead of forcing something that isn’t working. Her understanding of children across different ages and stages and needs is unmatched. I’m so sad she lives two hours away from me now, because otherwise I’d pay her myself! In fact I have! Enjoy her. She’s an actual delight, and I know she’ll be equally so with your babies.
