About Gwyneth

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, supportive, optimistic! I like literacy tutoring because engaging with children one on one fosters trust, communication skills and can inspire lifelong appreciation for learning and reading! In my spare time, I love reading novels, taking long walks throughout the city and nature trails, pilates, baking and snuggling my kitties. One thing you should know about me is I will never give up on your child. All children deserve to be believed in unconditionally, and I hope to inspire self-love and confidence in every child I work with. Currently I work with students grades 1-3 in small groups as a literacy interventionist. I often incorporate games and crafts into my class time to ensure students are focused and engaging with words outside of a structured education context. I believe this multi-faceted approach to literacy intervention fosters an appreciaton for the boundless possibilities of words and language!
