Hello! I am a licensed special education teacher with a heart for working with all students! Being a mother myself, I have experience in working with very young children as well as adults. I believe all children can learn and that, as educators, we must adjust our teaching to meet the intellectual needs and abilities of the individuals we service. I have experience as a tutor as well as a teacher assistant. I am currently in my second year of teaching and have a proven track record for helping students progress to higher reading levels as well as passing content based exams. I currently teach high school English to students with disabilities and Psychology. In English, I specialize in decoding, reading comprehension, fluency, phonics and grammar. In Dance, I specialize in Ballet, African, Modern and Step with almost 15 years of dance experience and 5 years of instructor experience. I also conduct PSAT prep.
