About Gwen

Hello! I am a retired NJ certified special education teacher with 30 years experience the classroom. I have a Master's Degree in Education, a Reading Specialist Certification and a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education K-12. I can provide homework assistance, reteaching, remediation, study skills, basic skills, life skills and enrichment for most subjects and grade levels. The last few years of teaching was mostly focused on high school biology and physics. In my spare time, I like to spend time outside with my chocolate lab. I have adult children and grandchildren I like to visit with. I like to garden and get artistically crafty around the house. My strengths include identifying needed components to reach individual goals, applying strategies to achieve those goals and working in collaboration with all stakeholders. I can work with general education students and special needs students of all grade levels. I have worked with pre-K up to college level.
