About Gretchen

Spending my summers as a sleepaway camp counselor, nurturing a child's world is my passion. I find deep fulfillment in supporting families through reliable, high-quality care. With nine years of experience and an older sister to two, I am comfortable caring for up to three children across all age groups. My approach is patient and creative, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for your little ones. I am currently located in Somerville, and I hold a college degree in Leadership and Biology with knowledge on childhood development, alongside active Basic Life Support , Lifeguard, CPR and First Aid certifications. I am very comfortable enforcing your household rules and am happy to assist with light housekeeping. Whether we are playing outside or crafting, I prioritize your child's growth. I adapt to your preferred communication style to ensure you stay informed. I look forward to the possibility of becoming a trusted, positive presence in your family's life.
