Gretchen cared for my mother in the last two years of her life. Mom was in memory care at a local facility, and we hired Gretchen as a companion for her and to help her with activities such as eating. I really don't have enough superlatives to share about her exemplary caregiving. Her presence is positive, tender, kind, funny, uplifting and attentive. When a parent is in a facility, it brings comfort to know that there is someone there who is vigilant and observant in making sure that they're getting the best care possible. It was an excellent facility, but there are only so many aides in any unit. She changed our mother's life by enhancing the quality of her life tenfold - as well as ours by giving us peace of mind. She became a friend to me and my siblings. I love and miss her!
