About Greta Rose

Hello my name is Greta and I am a recent graduate from the University of Oregon's Family and Human Services bachelors program, now based in SW Portland! I have a year of child care experience in preschool classrooms as a teachers assistant. I spent half of my time in a special education classroom and worked with children with developmental differences, physical disabilities and children in the autism spectrum. Earning my degree over the last four years has given me a strong foundation in topics such as child development, trauma informed care, family dynamics and systems, and communication skills with children. I have a passion for children and hope to one day work as a child psychologist. I love arts and crafts, outdoor play, reading, and creating fun enriching activities. I believe that my experience as a teachers assistant as well as my knowledge from my degree makes me qualified to be a caregiver for children of any age.
