About Grace

I'm looking for a job that is reliable but can also be flexible if needed. I have previously enjoyed getting to know the families I work with and really value communication. I started working with kids when I was in high school where I would help host week long dance/cheer camps twice a year. In my college years, I work as a Recreational Therapeutic Assistant, for the Rockford Park District in Rockford, Illinois. In this role, I supported kids aged between 5-13, who needed extra behavioral assistance in summer camp activities. My last two years of college, I was a part-time babysitter for a family with two girls, 2-years-old and 4-years-old. I would drive them to the library, museum, parks, and aid in food preparation and light house keeping tasks. I would occasionally help with morning and bedtime routines as requested. Something you should know about me is I am fully vaccinated and will do my best to provide care that matches the parenting style of the family:)
