Hi there! I'm Grace, a childcare worker, musician and visual artist. I have been working with kids for over 10 years now, starting as a teenager. Since then I've done full time nannying, part time babysitting, afterschool programs and a series of art workshops with local nonprofits. I currently work at an arts nonprofit on Wednesdays, mentoring adult artists with developmental disabilities, and as a nanny for the rest of the week. I am available for evening babysitting jobs, or occasional weekend slots. I approach the children in my care from a place of empathy, curiosity and respect. My goal is to foster meaningful connection with kids and families through trust-building and emotional attentiveness. I am vaccinated/committed to following CDC guidelines.

If you are able to hire Grace to care for your child, do it! You won't regret it. She is loving, thoughtful, creative, and always elevates the needs of a child over what might be convenient or easy. Grace cared for my daughter for around 30-35 hrs a week from May of 2020 to August of 2020. My daughter was 13 months when Grace started. It was obviously not an easy time to choose to have outside care in the home, but Grace was wonderful at communicating her own social habits (and we did the same) so that we could all feel safe during a pandemic. Grace felt like a part of our family, and still does. My daughter adored Grace and I always felt she was safe and happy with her. I also know Grace in a professional capacity, and know that she is an excellent educator, artist and is talented at caring for and supporting older children as well.
