About Gracelyn

I'd describe my personality as kind, fun, and genuine! I like working with kids because they see the world in such a vibrant way! Their curiosity and creativity is very inspiring to me. I started working with kids when I was in high-school, baby sitting here and there. Once I was in college, I started spending my summers working with children in summer camps. My first summer of college I began working at a camp for children with physical disabilities in Southampton. The next I spent as an instructor at a tech-focused camp, and most recently I worked as a camp counselor at a botanical garden where I instructed nature-centered curriculum. 4 years ago, my oldest sister had her first son. For the first 2 months of his life, she stayed with me and my parents and I spent a lot of time assisting and babysitting. Since then, my siblings have given me 2 nieces and 3 nephews! I have had the privilege of not only watching them grow, but also helping provide child care!
