I'm a graduate school student studying speech pathology with over 10 years of childcare experience! My experience ranges from infant care through middle school aged kids. Some of the most notable things are: - 3 years as a staff member at an after-school day care program where I helped with homework, facilitated educational games, and supervised outdoor play. - 5 years as a nanny for a family with 2 kids. I picked them up from school, made snacks and cooked dinner, took them to various activities, and gave baths. - Babysat for a diverse range of families who include infants, twin toddlers, and siblings numbering up to 5. Some of my favorite things to do with kids are art projects, water play, and trips to the park (and surprise pit stops at a coffee shop for a treat!) Grace has been a huge asset to me since I moved to the Philadelphia area. I moved here with little support as a single parent. I needed someone to care for my 6 year old son L. (now 8). I am so lucky to have found Grace. They worked with my schedule and have provided immaculate care for my son. My son is extremely energetic and he loves to push boundaries. I've had a lot of trouble finding a sitter in the past that could keep up with him both physically and mentally. While with past sitters, he has often told me "I'm bored with that babysitter" or "we stayed inside all day and watched TV". With Grace he comes home tired and happy. Grace always makes sure L. is active and keeps him stimulated. They have often taken him to museums or even the cat cafe to interact with animals. I love that I can trust Grace because they are reliable, on time, and honest with me about L.'s behavior during the time they spend with him. I can't recommend Grace enough.
