About Grace

Hello! My name is Grace and I am a second year in the UMSI Masters. While I may seem young, I have over 5 years of in-depth experience working with young children, both within my own family through siblings and cousins and through other families. Throughout high school and my first year in college I had a few steady jobs with families of multiple children. One such family, who I helped out with on a weekly basis, had twin 3-year-olds and a 1-year-old, all of which I managed with competence and grace. Engaging verbal play was key in situations like these or with another family who had an 8-week-old infant as well as a 2-year-old. My biggest passion is immersing myself with the children by helping them and their parents to have the best possible experience and assistance. With the recent struggles of COVID-19 it is crucial to have someone supportive and flexible like myself to get involved in the children's lives, adding extra support and fun wherever needed.
