About Gordon

I like tutoring because I like to help people learn new things and overcome hurdles. I want to encourage learners to like math as much as I love it. And I get to meet new and interesting people. I started tutoring when I was in high school helping middle school and other high school students. I also tutored some high schoolers while in college. I gained a teaching license and was a full time teacher for 5 years. Since switching careers to Software Development I have gained much experience but I am now pursuing my first love of teaching/tutoring. Some things you should know about me is that I am easy-going and even keeled, hard working and methodical, consistent and reliable. My patience and active listening skills serve me well when tutoring. In my spare time, I like to do chores around the house, exercise, ride my bike, do some acting and watch sports.
