Gloria was a godsend to my mother and our family. Our only regret is that we didn't have her longer as my mother passed away after only three weeks. Gloria's compassion and care exceeded our greatest expectations. She noticed early on that my mother had great style and that her dignity was very important to her. On more than one occasion I came home from work to find that Gloria had painted her nails "because they were chipping", used the curling iron to style her hair and applied makeup including her famous red lipstick. Even though my mother was transitioning Gloria innately knew that this was important to her, whether or not she was aware of her surroundings. She was gentle, she was loving, she provided a peaceful environment when a family member could not be at home due to work or school commitments. She taught us many techniques, that we wouldn't have known without her assistance, that made caring for my mom easier after Gloria went home. This woman is an absolute angel.
