About Gloria
Experience: 7 yrs
Growing up I knew caring for children was something I was meant to do! I started babysitting in my early teens and helped out in the church nursery. During my Jr. and Sr. years of HS I completed the ECE program at Centerville. Half of each day was spent teaching and mentoring at the K-Preschool level. Over the years my love for children never went away and I started working full time for a family with two very sweet little boys. The next 2 years were spent helping my mother who struggles with MS. Soon after I spent 2 years working for a family with 4 boy s ages ranging 3 to 11. As the boys grew and preschool rolled around my services were no longer needed. Family reference provided upon request. I am ready to find a family not only to work for but to build a friendship and rapport with. I believe that we as teachers, parents and mentors have a huge role to fill. After all, we are the kids past, present and future!

Gloria has been great. My wife works from home and Gloria has been key in her getting back into her work routine and making sure our son is well taken care of. She has been wonderful helping him learn to crawl and stand. He crawls full speed to her when she arrives. You can tell that he really loves her. It has been great knowing that he is safe, loved and also learning while we are at work.
