I became a Certified Nursing Assistant in 1998. Working with people of all ages. From special needs and participating in their therapy. Asking if there were areas I could improve as well. Scheduling appointments, interactive reading and making healthy balanced meals. To having the honor of caring for my own amazing parents until they passed. They were married 54 years. I bathed mom, cooked, cleaned the way she wanted, took to doctor appointments, gave medication and would take them on outings for dinner or breakfast & shopping. Even when dad signed himself out AMA. I was able to talk my brother through on what tests, prescriptions and questions to ask doctor to make sure he had everything he needed as if he was in the hospital. When I was in Arizona. I have experience with Alzheimer's/Dementia care. Staying up all night to make sure patients were safe. I learned to be empathetic and compassionate. I can do strengthening exercises using bands, sitting ball, swimming, bikes, and walking.
