About Gladys

I am a retired English school teacher of 20 years and just recently moved here in Georgia from Hawaii in October of 2023. As a babysitter and/or nanny, I have an abundant years of experience with raising children since I have a daughter of my own who is now 33, and a granddaughter who is 4. I have helped raised my granddaughter since birth. I have worked at an infant care facility in a church setting for a few years. And as a teacher, I have worked with Pre-k, kindergarten, and first grade students for 5 years. As a tutor, I have 20 years experience working with both special education students and general education students in a mainstream classroom setting. I am very familiar with the IEP process, creating necessary accommodations to students with learning disabilities. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I have passed both a background check and fingerprint screening. I have my own personal vehicle with a clean driving record. I am pet-friendly and get along with cats and dogs.
