About Giulia

I provide swimming lessons in your backyard. I teach people of all ages and abilities. Since 2014, I've also begun working with the Special Needs population- primarily autism and down syndrome. My style is a bit different than others. I work with the student at their own pace and style. For beginners, I work on getting you comfortable and then we move to floating and then actual movement with slow, fluid motions- kind of like a jellyfish! I also majored in French and offer tutoring. A little about me- I've been teaching swimming since 1992. I've been a competitive swimmer from the age of 9 to 18. I got back into competition in 2011 while swimming with the San Mateo Masters. I've taught people of all ages and encourage people of all ages and abilities that it's never too late to learn how to swim.
