About Gitte

Greetings, Thank you for visiting here. As a mother of two children - one 27 and one 21 years old - I have enjoyed many hours raising and learning from children, both from my kids as well as from the wonderful friends my children brought into our lives. I have learned that each child has something to teach us, adults. I am currently a semi-retired professor, and in the past I have also worked as a public school substitute teacher (K-middle school) and as a nurse's aide at a retirement home. I love children, and pets, and I love to bake, make crafts, play board games, go for nature walks, and have a good laugh. My schedule is flexible, meaning I am available all days of the week, after 2 p.m. I can do overnights (awake if you need that). I am fully vaccinated and able to do light work in your home.
