About Gisella

Hi! I'm Gisella, originally from Brazil, now based in Studio City. I've spent the last 8 years caring for kids, mostly newborns through age 5, and it's honestly the work that fills me up the most. Before that, I was an au pair, which is where I first fell in love with this, being part of a family's daily rhythm and watching a little person grow up. I've worked with some wonderful families over the years, and what I've learned is that every kid is different. I try to meet them where they are, lots of playing, lots of going outside, and plenty of silliness. I speak Portuguese and English, so if your family wants some bilingual play mixed in, I'm happy to do that too. With babies, I'm calm and attentive, feedings, naps, tummy time, all the little routines that help them feel safe. With toddlers, I love getting on the floor, going to the park, cooking simple meals together, and turning ordinary afternoons into something fun. I'm comfortable driving kids to activities or appointments.
