I have worked in assisted living for 11 years. 10 of those years in the same facility. I have cared for people with dementia, mobility issues, and many of them at the end of their lives. I have experience in medication administration, blood sugars and insulin, oxygen, nebulizers, food preparation, housekeeping and much more. I have experience as a shower aid. I have also worked in the activities department doing arts and crafts, games and many other fun things. I love caring for the senior population; I think they are a very special part of our population. I really enjoy hearing their stories and learning about their lives.
