About Gilberto

My name is Gilberto T. and I am a Bilingual music teacher with over 19 years of experience with a Master's degree in music education. My passion is to teach music to all students in all grade levels. In addition to that I am music producer that work with a great variety of genres styles. I am a positive person who has an enthusiastic outlook on life. I love my job and I get a great sense of achievement for seeing my students develop and grow as individuals. I play four instruments including piano, voice, guitar and bass guitar and I have an extensive choral experience. My teaching style is primarily centered on class engagement as I am willing to make adjustments to make the material more interesting for all my students. I am willing to teach in person and online depending on my students comfort preferences.
