About Gianna

Hi! My name is Gianna and I am 20 years old and a sophomore at Ohio University. I have worked with children with special needs my whole life, and this is an area of interest. My major is Communication Sciences and Disorders, with a focus on using AAC devices. My philosophy is, every child deserves a voice. I am very knowledgeable in the use of AAC devices such as eye gaze, touch chat, and LAMP. I have recently worked with a child with LAMP, and he made amazing strides for this. I have worked as a caregiver as well as a paraeducator in a special education school system. My mother is a special educator, and I have had experience working with a team of SLP, OT, and PT. I am very energetic and knowledgeable. I have experience working with ASD, Rhett Syndrome, CVI, CP, Down syndrome, and epilepsy. Please let me know if you have anymore questions.
