Doesn't matter what kind of character your loved one is! Movie lover to ex-military! I simply love caring for people and I have a lot of good references from the families I have worked for, Just ask My experience is with dementia, Parkinson's, cerebral palsy, Autism and full body paralyzation. I am a college student so I am looking for a situation where it will be OK to bring my homework along for long shifts( when the chores are done and your loved one is squared away with entertainment or napping). This of course only applies to full day shifts(8-12 hours) I will not need to multitask with homework if it is a short shift(4-6 hours). Some of my favorite things to do when caring for someone is taking them places, cooking for them, reading to them, and just letting them talk my ear off if they are outgoing. I can be talkative and cheery and I can also be a fly on the wall just depending on what is needed. Please do contact me if you Think I might be a good fit!
