About Gessyane

Gessyane cared for our daughter from 5 months old through age 2.5, and she had a lasting impact on our family. From the beginning, our daughter’s emotional and physical safety was her top priority. She created an environment where our daughter felt secure, loved, and confident, while encouraging independence and curiosity. We saw a meaningful impact on our daughter’s emotional stability and self-confidence. She took full ownership of our daughter’s care and consistently went above and beyond. She has a strong foundation in infant care and a clear understanding of how to support a child’s development toward independence. She supported development through creative, screen-free activities—arts and crafts, cooking, singing, dancing, imaginative play, and even “recitals” with handmade costumes. She read endlessly with her and even created stories for Korean books she couldn’t read, which was incredibly impressive. She prepared healthy meals (and even took care of us when we were sick), kept everything clean and organized, and handled all aspects of care from laundry to early bottle sanitizing. She also proactively found enriching activities like library programs and coordinated them with us. Gessyane is highly trustworthy, communicative, and dependable. She was transparent about each day, receptive to feedback, and consistently followed through. Because of this, I was able to fully focus on work knowing my daughter was in excellent hands. She safely drove our daughter to activities and supported us through a major transition by caring for our daughter at her own home. She balanced structure and flexibility well, adapting schedules as our daughter grew while maintaining consistency. She was a true teammate in parenting—respectful of our approach, thoughtful in sharing input, and fully aligned with our decisions. She genuinely made our lives better as working parents. After interviewing more than 10 candidates (and parting ways with a previous nanny), Gessyane was the right fit in every way. Our daughter still loves her and lights up when she sees her. We only parted ways due to a change in schedule needs—and she even helped connect us with our current nanny. I would highly recommend Gessyane to families who value a child’s emotional security, healthy development in a safe environment, and open communication with parents. If we need full-time care again, she will be the first person we call.
