About Georgia

I'd describe my personality as extroverted, creative, and ambitious. I like working with kids because they are incredibly authentic and honest. I enjoy their creativity and excitement for life. I'm looking for a job that is flexible with my college schedule and one where I can build rapport with a family and really get to know them well. I started working with kids when I became a babysitter early in high school, but really started working with children when I got into the leadership training program at YMCA Camp Minikani. I did the Leadership Training program for 3 years and then counseled for 2 summers at sleep away camp for 8 weeks. Now, I am an incoming director at the same camp, so I have extensive experience with children. I am a developmental psychology major with a double minor in public health and gender studies. I am also Vice President of my sorority, Chi Omega. I absolutely love school and plan to apply to PhD programs next fall for developmental psychology.
