About Georgia

Hello, My name is Georgia! I currently work for Horizon as a Behavioral Health Assistant. I work with adults with substance use disorder. Prior to Horizon, I worked in Home Health Care for three years. While I was in High School, I attended BOCES and their Health Occupations Technician program. Through the program, I had the opportunity to get my clinical hours through three separate agencies. After graduation, I had the pleasure of being a full time aide to two different individuals. I am very passionate about my work. Because I love what I do, I have a steady source of motivation that drives me to do my best. In my current job, my passion has led me to challenge myself daily and learn new skills that helped me to do the work better. I'm a people person! I love meeting new people and learning about their lives and their backgrounds. I can almost always find common ground with strangers, and I like making people feel comfortable in my presence. I can't wait to meet you!
