About Genna

Hi there, my name is Genna and I'm an energetic and creative 28-year-old! I started out in medical school, but fell into the world of education five years ago and love it so much! My favorite age group are toddlers and pre-teens, but I have experience working with all ages. I'm looking for a part time position, and my rates start at $15/hour for one child. Prices will change if there are multiple children, or depending on if it is a stand alone or reoccurring position. I have worked for 2 families, one for two years, and the others for about 18 months. I'm CPR certified, have my own car, and have taken online courses in child development. My focus is on giving your child a safe, routine-focused, and creative space to learn and grow into a wonderful person. I love doing seasonal crafts, baking, pretend play, encouraging independent time, and special weekly outings when appropriate. I'm firm but kind, and will work with you on any challenges your child may come to.
