My skills include empathy, energy, and boundaries. I enjoy this type of work because I can help parents uphold a safe and loving environment for their kids while they are away. I'm looking for a job that has a desire to see their children feel safe, loved, and well taken care of. I enjoy becoming an additional adult in their lives that feels like family. I started working with kids back in '09 when I started college. I have had many experiences working in early childcare schools and also with families. I value clear and upfront communication. I feel that if parents and I are on the same page the process of earning and building trust happens a lot more easily. I am a lot of fun and have a heart to make room for children to feel seen and heard in their desire to communicate how they feel. In that same way, I feel like I model good boundary setting that allows children to be who they are while learning how to respect the boundaries of others and learn to build their own in return.
