About Gay Yvonne

I am an experienced early literacy specialist. . In these roles, I have trained teachers in the best practices for early literacy based on the science of reading. My goal is to provide a hands on engaging experience for students. I enjoy tutoring because of the delight I see in students when they are acquiring new reading skills. My experience includes classroom teacher, interventionist, instructional coach and mentor teacher. In my spare time, I enjoy my family, hiking and walking, indoor rock climbing and reading. (Of course!)
