About Gayla

I am 52 and a retired legal assistant of 30 years seeking a caregiver position. My experience comes from extensive care of family members. My grandmother had dementia and I cared for her for many years. My uncle had kidney disease and was on dialysis and my mother and I were his primary caregivers for 6 years. We went through many different situations with him. My other uncle also had dementia and I helped care for him as well. Other family members have had heart disease and cancer. I am very familiar with these illnesses and different types of treatment.
