About Gavin

Hi! I'm Gavin, a 19-year-old nursing student at Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC). Caring for others has become a meaningful part of my life, especially over the past year as I've helped support my family while my dad has been undergoing treatment for stage IV non-small cell lung cancer. Through this experience, I've learned patience, compassion, responsibility, and the importance of being present during challenging times. I enjoy helping with daily tasks, preparing simple meals, providing companionship, and creating a safe and positive environment. As an older brother, I've also helped care for my younger siblings, strengthening my sense of responsibility and reliability. My goal is to provide seniors with the same kindness, respect, and dignity that I would want for my own loved ones while giving families peace of mind that they are in caring hands.
