About Garnet

I am an alumna of Long Island University in New York. I majored in Nursing and Psychology. With over 23 years of experience, I continue to provide exceptional care for the sick and elderly in hospitals, nursing homes and residences. I have worked as a counselor with The Center for Family Support and Birch Family Services serving individuals that has Mental Disabilities. My passion to care led me to all aspects of healthcare especially the terminally ill. My services includes but is not limited to Mental Support (help needed to keep a person in a positive frame of mind) Transportation Services Shopping and Meal Preparation Medication Management (getting prescriptions filled, keeping medications up to date, taking medications on time and the right dosages) Help to promote Activities of Daily Living (bathing, hair, nail and oral care) Dressing: assist with selecting proper clothing for different occasions Feeding Continence Management (encourages patient to use bathroom) Ambulating.
