About Gale

I started working with children as an English tutor for ignite reading. Since then I have worked both as a Daycare teacher and a Nanny. I also have two younger siblings who I have helped raise since their infancy! I love playing outdoors, having dance parties, craft times, and reading time with the children I work with. I am also on the look out for any opportunity to help foster the child's development, whether that means working on motor skills, active cognitive learning or socio-emotional development! The most important part of being a nanny is the trust between not only the nanny and the parents, but between the nanny and the child. I find great importance in honesty and communication with the kids. Sometimes this is formed through conversation, but I find most often that it is through consistency and play! Children learn and communicate through play and it's my job as a caretaker to reach the kids on their level!
