About Gail

I'd describe my personality as warm, compassionate, helpful. I recently was my mother's caregiver. I took care of all her needs, including bathing, dressing, grooming, meal prep, errands, laundry, housekeeping, medication management, advocating, bill paying, and doctor visits. I really enjoyed being able to give her TLC! I also cared for a gentleman with Parkinson's, dementia, and an ostomy. I can operate a Hoyer lift. I have 2 years experience with hands-on and dementia care. I have five years experience as a geriatric social worker. In my spare time, I like to take nature walks, swim, paint, and bird watch. I am smart and reliable. I'm able to see the big picture of what needs to be done, and to collaborate with family members to resolve any unmet needs. My skills include managing a household, hands-on care, companionship, medication management, backgrounds in social work and health care. I was also a massage therapist for 10 years.
