About Gail

I have 30 plus years experience in childcare. I worked 6 years in a long term children's home for the severe and profoundly disabled. The children ranged in ages from 6 weeks through 18 years. I started as a certified nurses aide and later moved on to the school program. I worked with children with muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy, down syndrome and multiple birth defects. I was then hired by a daycare facility where I worked with preschool and after school children. I drove the bus and picked up at each school. After having my own children I became a licensed day care provider in the state of Illinois. I was licensed for ages 6 weeks through 12 years. As a provider for many years I have experience with all age groups . I have always loved working with children and have a special interest in infants - five years. I have the most experience with this age group. I am CPR certified , and also a CNA. I recently finished a four year nanny job in Austin.
