About Gail

I'm a former Children's Ministry Director and played a key role in opening a large daycare in the Kittanning area. I stepped away from Children's Ministry to care for my Mom in 2021, who had physical needs and mild dementia. She passed away earlier this year. During this time, I also cared for a friend's elderly Mother a few mornings a week. I volunteer at my church and Rivercliff Nursing Home doing crafts with older folks there. I was a Certified Nurse's Aide in 2013 when I stepped into a Children's Ministry role. I have that experience as well as caring for my own parents. I love the elderly and feel they are often the forgotten in society. I simply enjoy their company and find so much value in hearing their stories and what they have lived through.
