We were so excited because Gabbie was wanting a long term position. Better yet, she lived around the corner from us. She was late to her first interview (even though she lives in walking proximity). Then, it took her 3.5 hours to respond via text to assure us there was no problem with her showing up for her first official day. The only thing she was timely responsive about was being paid. She does not follow verbal or written instructions. We mistakenly allowed her to nap while our child napped. We had even told her to set an alarm.. Fortunately our 2.5 year old was perfectly fine; however she slept for 2 hours and 45 min while he had only slept 2. She's great at apologizing but the experience with her was very disappointing from start to finish.
