About Gabrielle

I am a recently graduated Masters student with my degree in School Counseling. I am an Associate Therapist in Manhattan seeing clients after 5 p.m. and am looking for a day-time position. I am deeply passionate about working with children of all ages and abilities. My experience includes supporting kids ranging from infants to adolescents and spans over 10 years of work as a nanny, as a Teaching Aide, as a School Counseling intern, and as a mental health counselor. Through my work in graduate school, I specialized in child-centered play therapy, which has given me both the clinical foundation and the creative, nurturing approach that children thrive with. I also had the opportunity to work in High, Middle, and Elementary School settings for a semester each as a school counseling intern. I understand how to meet kids where they are, build trust, and create a safe, joyful environment for them to grow.
