About Gabriela

My experience with children started at church, where I helped during Sunday School and led recreational activities for younger kids. I also worked on some weekends as a kids' entertainer at a farm hotel, mainly in the pool area. I organized games, supervised activities and made sure the children were safe while having fun. Since I took swimming lessons for five years and even competed a few times, I feel very comfortable around water activities. I also helped take care of my younger cousin since he was a baby. I took care of a 3-year-old girl on weekends and helped with her 6-month-old baby brother. Currently, in the United States, I take care of two girls, N (10) and C (12). N is autistic, and this experience has helped me develop even more patience, understanding and sensitivity when supporting children with different needs and personalities. I help them with their daily routines, activities and transportation when needed.
