About Gabriela

Hello! I am currently pursuing a masters in professional counseling with a specialization in children and adolescents alongside school based mental health. I love working with kids and have experience babysitting and working in a nursery with children between the ages of 1-14. I am also a great communicator and have experience working in crisis with children. As a sitter I work to provide an engaging environment, promoting structure through parents' pre-established routines while also creating space for children to be creative, playful, and enjoy being themselves. I'd describe my personality as happy, creative, and patient I'm looking for a job that offers flexibility, financial security, and a work life balance as I pursue my education and career goals. I started working with kids when I was an adolescent, often baby sitting for my neighbors and members of my community. In my spare time, I like to go camping, read, make art, go on walks with my dog, and cook!
