About Gabriela

When I was studying my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education 20 years ago, I also started working as an assistant in a daycare. I decided that I was in the right path! When I finished my degree, I opened my own program and ran my own children daycare center/nursery school in Mexico for 7. 5 years before I moved to NY. Once in New York I had the opportunity of working at home as a Nanny and tutor, and loved it! After doing that for a couple of years, I decided to go back to the classroom and became interested in the Montessori Philosophy that involves a lot of positive discipline and respect for the child. I finished the certification, and now I am studying a master's degree in Education. I have been working in Early Childhood Education for 20 years now! During this journey I have learned different skills and polished my knowledge trough experience from my work. I strongly believe that every child should be raised in an environment full of love, respect and positive limits.
