Gabby seems nice and friendly and is probably a good babysitter. I hired her in early July to watch my child for the fall semester. We kept in touch and did a trial babysitting day. She accepted the position, but then bailed one week before her start date. Once you accept a position, you should keep your word. If you're still looking for something else, you should let the other person know so they can have a backup plan.
