About Franklin

I started working with kids when I was 18 at an after school program while enrolled in undergrad at the University of Texas at Dallas. After realizing how much I enjoyed having a positive impact on kids, I switched my major to Child Learning & Development and Psychology and graduated with my B. S. in 2017. Since then, I have worked with children in several settings: summer camp, court-mandated supervised visitations, special education, and as a substitute teacher. Now, I am a graduate student at Lewis & Clark working toward my masters in mental health counseling. My goal upon graduation is to work with individuals of all ages, especially in the LGBTQ+ community. 1) Thoughful, 2) Playful, 3) Optimistic
