About Francine

We hired Francine to babysit my son who is almost two. During our interview we noticed she smelled like smoke, but she promised she would never smoke in front of the children or her own grandchildren. We try to limit electronic use with our son too. While we were gone the two days we had her we checked off and on with the home camera. She was increasingly frustrated with him as the day wore on, was struggling to keep up with him physically and couldn't pick him up well. We heard her say on the camera "next week will be better, we can go downstairs and watch TV." This would have been when my husband was away from home and they would have access to the TV room. Lastly a neighbor told us they saw Francine smoking while she had taken our son out for a walk around the block. She was very sweet in person but unfortunately was not able to meet the physical requirements we discussed during our interview. The dishonesty we experienced was also very discouraging.
